Abdur has empowered Studio JCI’s growth and transformation through business development, technology adoption, and demonstrated management techniques.

Abdur’s experience includes designing and master planning over 5 million square feet of large real estate projects across North America and Europe for institutional developers and investment managers. At Studio JCI, he has been guiding some of the firm’s most ambitious projects through entitlements, such as 630 The East Mall, a three-building development in Etobicoke, portfolio projects across Scarborough, as well as several large densification projects within MTSA zones across Ontario.

A Toronto native, Abdur received his Bachelor of Architecture from The Cooper Union in New York, NY, the prestigious alma mater of entrepreneurial architects Daniel Libeskind, Elizabeth Diller, and Pritzker Prize laureate Shigeru Ban. In addition to architecture, Abdur is passionate about art history, coffee, and discovering local multi-cultural cuisine.
