Cooksville High-Rise East

Located within the Cooksville community in Mississauga, this project is at the heart of a campaign to revitalize the Dundas Street corridor. As part of the City of Mississauga’s Dundas Connects Masterplan, which aims to improve transportation, land use and public spaces, this 22,000m2 residential building sets a precedent for higher-density living within the Cooksville community.

The innovative, hybrid form features a 7 storey, mid-rise podium with an 11-storey, terraced tower above. The podium, scaled to address the pedestrian experience, artfully combines masonry, metal and glass. Articulated masonry frames ground the podium levels while breaking up its mass horizontally. The glass tower rises above it to provide wonderful views of the city while terracing to minimize it’s impact. 

This 18 storey building offers commercial spaces at grade, 300 residential units, along with an array of amenities such as a fitness center, library, coworking lounge, party rooms and lush, generous outdoor amenity areas.
