Juan is a Colombian Architect and Designer with international experience in dynamic design environments; graduated from the Universidad de Los Andes. Before joining JCI, Juan Camilo was an Associate Architect at TALLER Architects, leading projects and competitions in Asia, Latin America, and Europe. His diverse architectural expertise includes education, culture, sports, institutional facilities, public space, and landscape projects. His professional practice includes nine public projects for the Mexican government, two schools in Italy, one university building in the Netherlands, multiple parks in China, and several awarded competitions. He most recently contributed to climate resilience-oriented consultancies for urban planning and public space in Colombia commissioned by the World Bank and the Dutch government.

He joined Studio JCI in 2023, bringing his expertise in strategic design, creative direction, and cross-cultural collaboration to deliver resourceful problem-solving architectural proposals built from project complexity and context. Juan Camilo is interested in fostering practical knowledge of organizational culture and management, communications, and business development in architecture.
