While relatively new to Studio JCI, Max demonstrates a commitment to exercising the core values that encapsulate the organization.

Originally studying architecture in Ottawa, Max received his Bachelor of Architectural studies in Design from Carleton University, leading to work experience in both Ontario and Alberta.

Max received his Master of Architecture Degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  Max’s thesis, focusing on the logistics and mechanisms of prefabrication in inhospitable environments, now seeks to apply streamlined approaches in design and construction to increase housing availability.  This includes interests in new and advancing technologies such as CLT and Mass Timber construction, as well as integration of emerging energy systems. 

Outside of Architecture Max’s Interest include all things science fiction, whether it be in film, tv, print, or digital media.
