Santiago has worked more than nine years alongside some of the most prestigious architects in Colombia, such as Daniel Bonilla, Carlos Naranjo and Ximena Samper. His work centers on the conceptualization, design, development, and construction of different mixed-use and residential projects, as well as competitions. During his career he has led multidisciplinary teams on the development of institutional buildings for some of the most important schools and universities in the country, like Colegio Anglo Colombiano, Colegio Nueva Granada, Colegio Los Nogales, Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

He is a graduate of Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, where he obtained his degree in 2014. Since the beginning of his professional practice, he has found a particular interest in understanding architecture from the balance between functionality and art, and how this influences in those who inhabit the space. Moreover, he is interested in the materiality in each project and the importance of this in the different stages and scales of each architectural process.
