Tong received her Bachelor of Architecture from the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at The Cooper Union and was the recipient of the AIA Henry Adams Medal upon graduation. She further studied Urban Design at John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto. Her rigorous training and design expertise allow her to develop building languages that engage visual pleasance and urban awareness.

Prior to joining Studio JCI, Tong was a designer for Neri&Hu Design and Research Office in Shanghai and worked on high-end boutique hotel renovation projects.  

During her time at Studio JCI, Tong has contributed to the design of a variety of large residential projects, from stages of the feasibility study to design development. She strongly believes in architecture’s power to create long-lasting values for the city and society through excellent design and execution.
